NATIONAL LAW AND JUSTICE POLICY AND PLAN OF ACTION
The rationale for the Department of Justice and Attorney General, as for other law and Justice agencies, is underpinned by the National Law and Justice Policy and Plan of Action and its three pillars being:
- Improving the efficiency of the deterrence system;
- Sectoral coordination;
- Crime prevention and restorative justice.
The role of the Department and its component services is inextricably linked with those of other key agencies of the law and justice sector who contribute to vision of the National Law and Justice Policy for a "Safe and Secure Environment for All".
